FAQ
Questions, answered.
Is SorotFlow free?
Yes. The free version is supported by ads from Google AdMob and adds a small watermark to recordings. A paid version without ads is planned.
Can it record internal audio?
Yes, on Android 10 and newer. You can record internal audio, your microphone, or both mixed. Some apps block audio capture; that is an Android restriction SorotFlow respects.
Will the floating bubble show up in my video?
Only if you want it to. Turn on “Hide the bubble while recording” in Settings › Controls and control everything from the notification panel, or switch the bubble to dot mode.
Are my recordings uploaded anywhere?
No. Recordings are processed and saved on your device only. They leave it only when you share them yourself.
Why does some content record as a black screen?
Apps that protect their content, such as streaming or banking apps, are captured as black by Android itself. SorotFlow does not bypass this protection.
What if my phone kills the app mid-recording?
SorotFlow writes video in one-minute segments. Next time you open the app, completed segments are joined back into a playable recording.
Which Android version do I need?
Android 7.0 or newer. Internal audio needs Android 10+, and recording a single app needs Android 14+.
