SorotFlow

Privacy Policy

SorotFlow records your screen on your device. Your recordings are never uploaded, and Sigarda does not collect your personal data.

Effective 7 November 2026 · Sigarda

The short version

  • No account. You never sign up or sign in.
  • Your recordings stay on your device. They are never uploaded to Sigarda or anyone else.
  • We don't collect your data. Sigarda runs no analytics and no automatic crash reporting.
  • Ads come from Google AdMob. Google receives data such as your advertising ID to show ads, and asks for your consent where the law requires it.

This Privacy Policy explains how the SorotFlow app for Android (“SorotFlow”, “the app”) handles information. SorotFlow is developed by Sigarda (“we”, “us”). It applies to the app and to this website.

1. Information we collect

Sigarda itself does not collect, receive, store or sell personal data. SorotFlow has no accounts, no analytics and no crash reporting of its own, and the app never sends your recordings, screenshots, audio or camera images to us or to anyone else.

This website does not use cookies or analytics. Like any web server, it may keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP address, requested page and browser type) to keep the site running and secure.

2. Data stored on your device

  • Recordings, screenshots and GIFs, in the app's own folder and, if you turn on Save to Gallery, in your Gallery (Movies/Sorot and Pictures/Sorot).
  • App settings, such as quality, controls, colors and watermark.

This data stays on your device unless you share it yourself, for example by sending a video to another app. Android may back up your app settings to your own Google account using the system's built-in backup; that backup is controlled by you and by Google, not by us.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

SorotFlow is free and shows ads from Google AdMob. To show ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK in the app sends information to Google, including:

  • your device's advertising ID,
  • IP address (which can indicate approximate location),
  • device and app information, such as model, OS version and app version,
  • interactions with ads, and diagnostic information about ad performance.

Google uses this information to serve ads, limit how often you see them, measure them and prevent fraud, as described in the Google Privacy Policy and in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. Data is encrypted in transit.

  • Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), the app asks for your consent using Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before ads are loaded.
  • You can review or change your choices at any time in the app under Settings › Ad privacy choices.
  • You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings › Google › Ads (on some devices: Settings › Privacy › Ads).

Ads are never shown while you are recording, and never inside the player, notification, floating bubble or widget. While an export, merge or compression is running, a labeled ad may appear below the progress. Full-screen ads appear only occasionally, after such a task finishes.

4. Permissions and why we need them

SorotFlow asks only for what its features need. You can refuse or revoke any permission in Android settings; the related feature will then stop working.

5. Crash reports

SorotFlow does not send crash reports automatically. If something goes wrong, technical details (such as an error log) stay on your device. They reach us only if you choose to send them, for example by attaching them to an email to our support address. We use what you send only to fix the problem and delete it when it is no longer needed.

6. Children

SorotFlow is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Keeping and deleting data

  • Recordings and settings: delete recordings in the app's Gallery, or remove everything at once by uninstalling SorotFlow or using Android Settings › Apps › SorotFlow › Storage › Clear data. Copies saved to your Gallery remain until you delete them there.
  • Advertising data: is held by Google under Google's policies. Reset or delete your advertising ID, or change your consent in Settings › Ad privacy choices.
  • Emails to support: ask us and we will delete your messages.

See Delete your data for step-by-step instructions.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. Because Sigarda does not hold personal data about app users, most of these rights are exercised directly on your device or with Google for advertising data. For anything we may hold, such as support emails, contact us.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above, and show significant changes in the app (Settings › About & privacy).
